So it has been a long time since my last post... no excuses, I just haven't blogged!! Things have changed a lot for me... Owen is now 19 months old and Lily is about 3 1/2!! I feel like I am finally starting to get a good grasp on my life. All of the little things that I do every day have proven to be very difficult. All the things all day and then I try to read to my kids in the evenings, baths, brush their teeth, say prayers and off to bed. And that is with more than one melt down I am sure. By then I look at my disaster of a house, and I know that I should clean it, or do something productive, but all I want to do is sit down and enjoy ME time... read a book, watch a movie, pin all my dreams on pinterest... things I can't do without interruption during the day. It just feels good to sit and not have to worry about any little persons and what they might be getting into.

I just want to be a better person, and especially mom and wife. Brad works so hard for our family, going to school and working full time. I feel like having this blog is a way for me to vent and to also let everyone know how we are doing :) I am liking facebook less and less these days, all of their privacy things switching on their own. It drives me crazy!! I really don't want everyone and their dog to see what my family is doing all the time. I really only have it still to stay connected with family, friends, and the friends that I don't necessarily talk to all the time, but that I still want to keep in touch with. So this blog is yet another way for me to stay connected but the setting won't be changing on me all the time. Well, lets see if it takes me another year or two to make another post!!

I'M BACK!

Well apparently life has gotten the better of me and I have not been on in a LOOOONG time!!!  Well update, I am VERY pregnant with our little boy who will be here in approximately 9 weeks! I have to pee ALL THE TIME and feel tired most of the day. Its hard work making a baby!! Brad is doing AMAZING at school, he loves flying and can hardly wait until the next time he can go! ( I'd be lying if I said it didnt scare me a little). Lily is growing sooo fast, she just turned 18 months! She is incredibly curious about life and LOVES the slide and the swings at the park. Our little unborn son is a kicker. He also thinks it is hilarious to stick his foot into my ribs on my right side and hold it there. Harley, our boxador, is extremely energetic and between him and Lily i am wiped out by the end of the day! Tibby, our cat, is as lazy as ever and does nothing but lay on our bed all day. My epiphany

I have had a realllly hard time trying to eat right and get my body back into shape... as I'm sure most new moms do. But i realized while jogging today that when it comes to getting back into shape and losing weight you have to commit and completely change how you think. I know it sounds like common sense, but to really realize that has helped me change how i eat and how hard i work out. Its definitely not easy and i really have to push myself. I have a ways to go until I am at my target weight, but i will do it! My goal is at least 1 pound preferably 2 a week. Another thing i have realized is just how much i have put into my body and how i dont need it at all, (obviously i gained from it). Its not easy, it sucks, and i hate it sometimes, but i try to keep the end goal in mind :)

The latest is we moved into a house that we LOVE! We also have a new dog named Harley, a Boxador (boxer/lab) who is the sweetest puppy ever and the whole family loves him, except Tibby haha.

First carousel ride!

Yesterday we went to my friend's son's first birthday! And Lily rode her first carousel!

She loved it!!! Its the little things like this that make parenting so much fun and such a ride! (no pun intended ha ha). It just makes me so happy to continue to watch her grow and learn, and someday she will have more siblings to share it all with! I am just so excited to see what the future has to hold for our family!!

Is she my daughter, I think so!!!! :) It is so much fun to see how is is always changing and growing! There some faces she make that I KNOW is a Brad face and Brad says she and I make a lot of the same faces too!! My favorite is when i go to get her from a nap, she kicks her legs and gets so excited!! We are definitely blessed to have such a happy healthy little girl!

Bestamor's gift from Norway!

Back when I went to visit my family in Washington, all my aunts, mom and Farmor (grandma) threw a surprise baby shower for me and Lily! It was so much fun! This outfit is what Lily's Bestamor (great grandma) got her all the way from Norway! So I decided to have a photo shoot :)
