Lily update!

So yesterday Brad and I were giving Lily a bath in the sink. Brad holds her up while I clean her legs and back. while i was rubbing her bum and thigh SHE LAUGHED!!!! I have only ever heard her giggle in her sleep but this was a full on laugh!!! Brad and I were laughing so hard we were crying and of course when i went to get a video of it she stopped but she is ticklish on her bum and thighs ha ha.

Brad was playing with her and talking to her in a weird voice and she liked it, so he kept doing it. pretty soon he had her laughing again ( I have no idea why it was funny but when parents find out how to make their kids laugh im sure they would do anything ha ha). I got a tiny bit of it on video :) but she didnt laugh as hard:

Lily also got her first haircut :) I know she is only 3 months but she had a major mullet so i just barely cut the ends in the back :)

Lily is even figuring out how to stand!! i only need to help balance her!

Little Lily

So Lily has had a hard time sleeping through the night due to all the traveling and visiting friends and family in other states, but now that the majority of the traveling is done, we can now get back to a normal routine. Last night she slept the longest she ever has! 12 hours!!! With a little fussiness for 10 minutes and only woke up once for a ten minute feeding and went right back to sleep! Needless to say, mommy and baby were much happier when they woke up :)

Lily was blessed on January 2, 2011 by her daddy :)

We had a lot of family and friends come and it meant a lot to us! Here are some pics!

Here it goes!

So almost everyone I know has a blog, so i figured I would jump into the blogging world as well! My goal is to use this to keep in touch with friends and family so that we can stay close! Just to make sure everyone is up to speed, Brad and I have been marred for a little over 2 years, Lily is 3 months and 5 days old and Tibby, our cute but annoying cat is around 4 years old! We are a happy family just trying to live life the best we can! Brad is working and going to school full time, making it so that I am a very lucky and happy wife and mommy meaning I get to stay home with Lily :) She is an amazing blessing in our lives and she is growing up so fast! She is smiling, babbling, and figuring out that she has hands and feet! We really are a blessed family and I look forward to see what the future has to bring!
